SSRC organizes a handful of group programs throughout the year:

 

Run Your First 5K Program!

Geared toward new runners, this beginner program will gradually and safely guide you from walking to walk/runs to running your first 5k. You'll walk (or run😉) away from this program with increased confidence, running best practices, & lasting friendships.

When: Wednesday nights at 6:30pm from April 9th through May 28th

Cost: Free to members

Please remember you must be an official sole sister member for the 2025 season to participate in this program.

Track Program:

6-week programs, one session held in the Spring and one beginning late Summer. These are run by Coach Carmela Taveras. The workouts are held at either the Tewksbury High School Track or the Wilmington High School track. Workouts vary each week.

​

We also offer a Track for Beginners! Graduates of the Run Your First 5K program and others new to track. The focus is on learning about running form, cadence, and track etiquette. You will have a short workout, to get comfortable running on the track.

Spring Track Program:

When: April 29th through June 4th​

Where: Tewksbury High School

Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm​

Cost: Free to members
